How are you lovely humans? I have been so busy running here and there I decided to stop by and just jot down a few words before I head out again.

Did anyone attend the Nairobi Restaurant Week (NRW)? Well, I finally did it this year This was really exciting for me as I went with my children and one of my good friends Di.

I’m not a foodie so they are very many dishes I have never tried (I’m not experimental). So we gathered ourselves and went to La Cantina.

First, let me start by saying you would not have guessed where the restaurant is, its off Ngong road on your way to Karen.

The ambience is so Italian I was excited everything about it from the setup to the open ovens ooooooouuiii I could go on. I know you have stopped by so I can talk about the Nairobi Restaurant Week.

I forgot to add the Chef is also Italian (I wish I could add a random emoji). The Chef went out of his way and prepared a menu away from their usual menu BIG plus. I noticed the prices as well compared to their home menu was significantly reduced BIG BIG plus.

So the menu consisted of seafood if you know me you know my love for seafood is minimal.

From the starters the sailfish was amazeballs! Even the eggplants I could not stop eating, they were grilled they had cheese yummy.

The main dish I honestly loved the Calamari and I am not just boosting throwing seafood words around the Calamari was really heavenly.

Would I do this again? In a heartbeat.

Love you guys, keep loving and keep slaying.
