Well they’re times I’m either too lazy or don’t have enough money to go spoil myself at a spa. So here are some of my beauty diys that I’m constantly doing at home.
If you watch my youtube channel I’m constantly talking about my famous lip scrub.

Shampoo
My hair is coloured and I’ve tried all manner of products for myself until i eventually decided to make my own shampoo. This shampoo is free of all the bad stuff that strips strands, sulfates included. It’s got a creamy lather too, ideal for drier manes, curly girls and even just in the dead of the cold season.
Ingredients
- Shampoo base ( one part baking soda one part water)
- Organic coconut oil
- Essential oil
Pour one cup of shampoo base into a bowl,
Add about 1 tablespoon of organic coconut oil, which is excellent for nourishing your hair and scalp.Stir in the coconut oil slowly. Lastly, add your fragrance of choice!
Shaving Cream
Ingredients
- 1 cup shampoo
- 1 cup conditioner
- 5 Tablespoons lotion or cream
- 5 Tablespoons coconut oil (warmed in the microwave for about 15 seconds)
This is a fairly thin consistency, which will not bother you in the least but If you are looking for something thicker you could try adjusting the ratio of ingredients.
Nail polish remover
Ingredients
- Toothpaste
A dollop of toothpaste is all you need. Then start scrubbing with a paper towel. In general, white toothpastes work best as they lift and pull the colour off your nail. Furthermore, toothpaste with baking soda, a well-known natural cleaning solution, often has the best results.
